1. PROTOTYPING – Rapid prototyping processes like stereolithography (SLA), fused deposition modeling (FDM) and selective laser sintering (SLS) are fine for testing form and fit, but they are no substitute for testing with real injection-molded parts. With Coi, you’re able to get injection-molded parts very quickly so you can begin functional testing before going to production.
2. TOOLING– When your production tooling won’t be ready for another three or four months, bridge tooling is a great way to make a run of parts for pilot production or market testing. Bridge tooling through COI-MOLD™ is ready to go with no additional cost or delay.
3. PRODUCTION – If your volume requirements don’t justify expensive steel production tooling, Coi can supply production parts to meet your full requirements. Multi-cavity aluminum molds can be very cost effective, and Coi will ensure that the tools last for the life of your project.
